United Way of Central Indiana is searching for volunteers to become tax preparers for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA). The program offers online and in-person tax filing services in Marion, Hendricks, Morgan and Boone Counties for taxpayers who earned $64,000 or less in 2016.
