United Way of Central Indiana and Indianapolis Colts: Celebrate NFL’s 100th Season with #ColtsHuddlefor100

INDIANAPOLIS – United Way of Central Indiana, in partnership with the Indianapolis Colts, will celebrate the NFL’s 100th season with #ColtsHuddleFor100. This unique volunteer opportunity invites NFL fans everywhere to join the larger Huddle for 100 initiative, an effort to inspire one million people to volunteer 100 minutes of their time to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Colts fans and interested individuals may select from a list of causes and opportunities they want to support through United Way’s community volunteer portal, VolunteerCentralIndiana.org. By sharing moments of their experiences on social media and registering their service hours, volunteers are then eligible to win game tickets, memorabilia, and more.
“From our legacy projects to our outreach programs, #ColtsHuddlefor100 is just one more way we want to show our fans and our community the importance of our philanthropic efforts,” said Kalen Jackson, Colts vice chair and owner. “Our partnership with United Way at both the local and national level gives us an advantage to not only reach our goal for this campaign, but to serve as many people as possible and achieve the greatest impact.”
“Our partnership with the Colts has been woven into over a century of impact for our Central Indiana neighbors,” said Peter Hanscom, vice president of marketing for United Way. “By connecting Colts fans and Hoosiers everywhere to volunteer opportunities they are passionate about, we are building a winning team that supports our most vulnerable neighbors and helps us end generational poverty in our region.”
Join the huddle with United Way and the Colts by visiting VolunteerCentralIndiana.org to find your volunteer opportunity and log your hours on the #ColtsHuddlefor100 page.
