  • 20,109 individuals receiving emergency utility assistance.

“It's been an honor to lead United Way's board of directors these past two years,” said Connie Bond Stuart, board chair. “As I pass the gavel to my esteemed colleague Bryan Mills, I'm confident United Way is well positioned to take a hard look at the root causes of poverty in our community, involve the right partners in finding solutions and bridge the passions of our donors directly to the needs of our neighbors, our children and our families.”  A complete version of United Way’s Community Impact Report for 2017-2018 is available on its website. Individual and Company AwardsUnited Way recognized individuals, volunteers and companies that made a significant impact on the community. Four companies earned the top prize – the Spirit United award – for exceptional volunteer and financial support of United Way.
